Job Function Summary:
The Operations Excellence Engineer’s primary responsibilities are to drive lean thinking mentality & Sigma tools and methodologies throughout the site via end to end process improvement projects, training and communicating success. The responsibilities range from strategic to tactical and will align with the overall company strategy objectives of creating a ‘World Class’ operating model.
Primary Responsibilities:
- To identify, plan, coordinate and lead continuous Improvement projects include, but are not limited to, line efficiency improvement (TPM), quality improvement (Six Sigma tools & DMAIC methodology), changeover reduction (SMED), lead time (VSM/VSD) & production planning improvement (Kanban), cycle time improvement (time study/ work factor), capability studies, throughput optimization, cost reduction, variation reduction, and wastes elimination.
- Design and develop visual controls to monitor KPIs in Operations as well as Analyze KPIs and use the information to identify baselines & projects for improvements in quality, throughput, and line uptime
- To set work standards, develop and maintenance document operational procedures (SOP)
- Provides leadership / mentoring / training to project teams on the use and practice of Lean methodologies and tools.
- Support in the overall deployment of OPEX training, best practice sharing and communication

Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering/ Automation or related field
- Experience as Industrial/Lean Manufacturing/OpEx Engineer for at least 2 years
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking & Problem solving
- Proficient computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office
- Lean Sigma certification preferred
- Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering/ Automation or related field
- Experience as Industrial/Lean Manufacturing/OpEx Engineer for at least 2 years
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking & Problem solving
