Operation Technician Position

Major Responsibilities:

Dryer:
- Operate field equipment at site for Slurry storage system, Centrifuge system, Dryer system, PVC storage and Bagging system.
- Standby and operate Substation such as Isolate and De-isolate MCC, CB … based on request from Shift Superintendent.
- Check all parameters and conditions of Generator to ensure that Generator is ready status due to EVN power can be interrupted any time.
- Check, verify and report any abnormal condition of machinery and equipment by way of sound, vibration, leaks, temperature, pressure etc…
- Isolate and prepare equipment to be free from danger of chemicals, temperature, pressure etc. before handover to Maintenance team to ensure that the maintenance activities can be carried out safely.
- Take accurate reading of operating condition and report to Shift Leader on any abnormality of change in condition. Records on field readings to be kept properly.
- Other: TPM member.

Boiler:
- Operate and control Coal Boiler system in Scada and field equipment at site with safe manner. Ensure enough steam to process for PVC production.
- Monitor and control quality of steam, coal boiler water based on analyzing result to ensure coal boiler operation stable and safe.
- Treat mud and waste water generate from coal boiler operation to meet standard.
- Coordinate with Chemical & Spare Part Warehouse personnel to receive Coal from supplier. Ensure quality and quantity for continuous operation of Coal Boiler.
- Check, verify and report any abnormal condition on the plant machinery and equipment by way of sound, vibration, leaks, temperature, pressure etc…
- Isolate and prepare equipment at Boiler area to be free from danger of chemicals, temperature, pressure etc. before handover to Maintenance team to ensure that the maintenance activities can be carried out safely.
- Take accurate reading of operating condition and report to Shift Leader on any abnormality of abrupt change in condition. Records on field readings to be kept properly.
- Member of Emergency Response Team and follow the instruction of On Scene Commander during plant emergencies.

Knowledge & skill:
- Education level: Having diploma.
(Special: Technical background about chemical, mechanical, petrolium equipment operation, automation or electrical);
- Understand process equipment and operating principle of equipment in plant;
- Have experience about Process safety, LOTO, PTW, JSA and Fire Fighting;
- Have experience of starting, shutdown & monitoring of equipment in the plant;
- English: Able to read and fully understand English equivalent to level B;
- Microsoft office (word, excel, power point);
- Communication skill: understand & transfer information clearly;
- Good attitude at work.
