Operation Statistics & Reporting Executive

Operation Statistics & Reporting Executive will report to Chief Operating Officer within the Operations Department and based at the terminal located at Cai Mep, Phu My Town, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. Some key tasks of the position include:

 Reporting function:
• Coordinate with Shift Managers to prepare monthly Operation Incentive for operators
• Coordinate with the I/S Cycle Owners to prepare monthly Financial Impact report
• Coordinate with Terminal Supervisor, Shift Managers, and Senior Operation Managers to prepare the daily/weekly/monthly operation performance reports associated with standard forms and VMS boards.
• Coordinate with Technical Department, Planning & Gate Department to prepare monthly operational performance on APMT via One Stream report.
• Coordinate with HOD departments to collect data and prepare monthly company dashboard to senior management team
• Prepare, analyse and submit data for the weekly/monthly operational performance, KPI tracking reports to the external contacts: APMT, Project teams and internal purpose.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for Senior Management Team.
• Coordinate with OPS teams (Execution, Planning, Gate and relevant parties) to collect and prepare data supplying to B.I projects

 Claim handling function:
• Be responsible to ensure claim process with all claimants (Shipping Lines/ ICDs/ Customers) in terms of compensation or liability of cargo/container losses, which are completed and closed as terminal claim procure.
• Visualize claim cases by monthly summary claim report to direct manager.
• Keep claim procedure/claim practices sharing updated and aligned with reality.
• Cooperate with DCFO to control & maintain the Terminal’s insurance policy & regulations regarding with the global renewal process required

 Multi-Task Skill :
• Being able to back-up for Berth Executive to send daily Game Plan, Berthing Plan to related parties
• Being able to prepare, analyse and submit data for barge transit to Billing Team
• Work with COO to maintain OPS Data set, and prepare data reports for all necessary departments
• Align on and help implement Lean For ALL program

The ideal candidates have:

 Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
 College or university degree in Logistics, Shipping, Operations Management, or related discipline.
 Excellent English speaking and writing skills
 Prefer at least five years of work experience in a container terminal, preferably with experience in vessel planning, vessel and yard operations, port documentation, billing, and customs.
 Requires in depth knowledge of berthing ships, control and traffic of vessel movements, re-berthing positioning of vessels, and marine berth handlings.
 Requires in depth knowledge of berth planning process and related documentation.
 Requires an understanding of vessel stowage planning, vessel and yard operations.
 Requires some knowledge of accounting, billing, and associated documentation.
 Requires a high level of planning and organizational skills.
 Requires ability to use computerized vessel operation software system(s).
 Has familiarity with the strict implementation of international standards of safe working practices within marine, stevedoring and terminal operations.
