Ocean Freight Manager

Primary Role:
Ocean Freight Sales & Account Management

To build & manage a portfolio of new clients to CBIP, assist Directors and take on internal business initiatives to improve the business.

Duties:
1. Sales & Account Management:
- Find potential customers, conduct sales calls, manage & develop new businesses in domestic and overseas.
- Make a plan to approach customers daily, weekly, monthly.
- Manage market information, survey, collect and analyze information.
- Survey, collect, analyze, evaluate, operate and use customer information effectively for the consignee of Export and import goods from HCMC, Hai Phong, Da Nang ports.
- Execute monthly, quarterly and annual sales target established by the company according to the company’s SOP Sales Target
- Prepare sales quotations by using company AFQ Form (Approval For Quotation).
- Report & review weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales plan, sales performance achievement.

2. Partner Relationship Development:
- Build a good relationship with carriers, transportation companies, and government agencies.
- Develop new agents in domestic, overseas to share business opportunities.
- Work with Co-Loaders to cooperate with each other for sharing best available rates, cargo share and obtain good financial terms on freight invoices.
- Find out and updated regulations concerning transportation-related fees and taxes.

- Broad knowledge of sales strategies, planning and ability to execute it.
- Have 3- 5 years of sales experience in sea freight forwarding.
- Leadership: ability to demonstrate Leadership in the team as a role model of the team.
- Computer Literacy: Good knowledge of MS Office Computer software & Sales Tool.
- Presentation skill: Good Presentation skills to attract customers and management.
- Interpersonal Skills: Persuasive, ability to understand team members, other team managers and become a team player.
