New Business Underwriting (NBU) Associate ManagerTop management

• Supporting to set overall functional NBU (New Business – Underwriting, Imaging and Mailing functions) objectives and directions, NBU procedures and proposing for Underwriting guidelines subject to Company’s vision and mission.
• Participating in proposing/ Initiating/ Managing operations of nationwide NBU team to ensure the team’s activities smoothly executed in accordance with the Company principle and guidelines.
• Participating in monitoring quality and productivity of NBU staffs and Underwriters to make sure risk assessment and classification correctly as Underwriting guidelines and cost efficiency; conducting annual Case review and authority limit revision.
• Contributing towards NBU staff development strategic and annual review plan (Underwriter Development Program), deploy strategy and various action plans including training & education programs (to staffs, partners..etc.), workshops... to ensure their work performance effectively and developing the team as a leading and professional NBU team in Vietnam and Generali Group.
• Participating in individual and group business and providing support to resolve complex and/or high sum assured cases, NBU relating complaints.
• Setting up and monitoring operations of Medical Service Centers & Panel doctors to reach Department objectives.
• Effectively building and maintaining relationship with other related sections (Management, Claims, CS, Agency, Actuary...etc), outsiders such as Government Agencies and stakeholders (if any) to smoothly solve all NBU related issues. Support NBU training program for agents/partnership.
• Effectively verifying and obtaining customers and/or beneficiaries’ identification/ identification documents as guided by the Department and provided under the prevailing AML Policy of the Company.
• Participating in building NBU Operational budget and control the cost effectively
• Duties as and when assigned by supervisor to meet the Objectives of Division and the company.

1) Education:
• University degree, Medical or Underwriting background is priority.
• FLMI, UND386 are priority
• Additional qualifications such as FALU/AALU, FCII/ACII, AAII are priority
2) Experience:
• At least 6 years of experience in NBU/Life Operations
• Experience in Claims is preferred
• At least 2 years of managerial experience
3) Skills:
• Proficient in English and Vietnamese both in speaking and writing
• Meticulous, organized and able to work under tight deadline and pressure
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Highly committed and self-motivated
• Ability to multitask
• Good initiative and team spirit
• Knowledge in computer software and using computer system
