Naval Architect Engineering Senior - Junior - Work Place Hung Yen

Functions as a technical specialist or in a lead role. Under general direction, develops and applies advanced engineering techniques, concepts and approaches to complex engineering problems. May provide technical guidance over a group or supervise engineering staff on projects of low to medium complexity. May be responsible for developing, validating, and presenting specialist/technical output

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design, develop and analyze new boats and boat system concepts
2. Develop complex designs for current and conceptualized boats, systems and equipment
3. Use 3D cad and PDM software to prepare plans, drawings and analytical models
4. Evaluate designs for feasibility
5. Analyze critical elements or performance of the design using analytic tools, model scale and full scale testing, or prototyping as appropriate
6. Coordinate with team & other departments for design calculations and drawing development
7. Identify and analyze problems; weighing relevance and accuracy of information
8. Monitor the project schedule for activities
9. Recommend and implement changes to designs based on conclusions
10. Research new technology and development tools to remain informed of current technology with respect to boat design and systems

1. Education: Engineering Degree or equivalent in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering (boat building)
2. Language: Fluently Vietnamese and advance English skills (Listen, Speak, Read, Write)
3. IT: ability to work with software: Axapta, CAD, PDM, SAP, MS Office (Word, Excel, PP etc.),...
4. Working experience: At least 3 years in related field (Ship or Boat design)
5. Competencies: Strategic & analytical thinking, customer Focus, conceptual, communication & cooperation skills, performance orientation & responsibility,leadership & people development, learning agility
