MICE & Ultra Luxury Division Consultant

Assist the MICE & ULTRA LUXURY DIVISION with sales proposals, ad hoc operational support and administrative tasks in order to ensure the smooth running of the department to ensure Revenue and Gross Profit targets are met and exceeded. To offer first point of contact and service new enquiries affectively and accurately per SOPs.

* Sales and Client Services
• Take ownership of and monitor entire sales process and follow up with MICE & ULTRA LUXURY DIVISION clients
• Identify and take action to cross-sell and promote all TOI destinations and products
• Prepare proposals and quotes and coordinate with Product and/or Sales in regional offices.
• Provide advice to clients on products that best suit their requirements
• Send final confirmation and any travel documents or vouchers to MICE & ULTRA LUXURY DIVISION clients
• Gather information to fully understand client requests and present options to meet their needs.
• Address any client complaints as required
• Build the relationship with existing clients

* Continuous Improvement
• Provide input to the continual improvement of MICE & ULTRA LUXURY DIVISION product across the region
• Attend regular training courses to keep up to date with both product and procedure
• Keep others informed by sharing information
• Feedback client comments to product department

* Operations and Reservations Support
• Address supplier questions and escalate to management when necessary
• Assist with monitoring service providers to ensure that the required services are delivered to the desired standard
• Conduct site inspections of hotels and restaurants
• Assist with bookings for special services, Halong Bay boats and hotels
• Coordinate booking requests with Operations for all other services and update as required

* General Administration
• Update the department database
• Provide a weekly WIP to Wholesales Sales Manager
• Conduct online research as directed

• Tertiary studies in Tourism, Hospitality preferred
• Knowledge of tourism, geography, foreign cultures
• Minimum 1-year experience in MICE & ULTRA LUXURY DIVISION industry
• Extensive personal travel within the region
• Good - Written and spoken English
• Excellent - Tourplan
• Good - MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
• Flexibility to work overtime
• Ability to travel
