Mô tả công việc
1. Strategic task (10%):
- Work with the division according to business objectives and strategies set down by the management.
- Maintain supplier strategy to include primary and backup factories.
2. Development (20%):
- Be responsible for working with the factories on development.
- Develop new and current products with full source factories within the go-to-market calendar and guidelines provided by the U.S. team.
- Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products based on what is found in factories.
- Communicate with Product Managers or Designers on design details and tech pack specifications.
- Call out any risks on quality, capability, and capacity at the early development stage. Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues during the development stage.
- Assist the compliance team to ensure vendors/suppliers adhere to or exceed Exxel Outdoors’ compliance standards and requirements.
- Accompany U.S. team to suppliers visits when needed.
3. Sourcing (20%):
- Obtain initial costing from suppliers/factories and offer alternative solutions to the Merchandising / Design team that will meet the price target for the product while keeping the aesthetics of the product.
- Source suppliers, materials, and finished products. Negotiate price to ensure first quality
materials and products with the most competitive price in the market.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure they are professional, transparent, and committed to the company's brands. Maintain jointly successful business relationships.
- Stay up-to-date on raw materials sourcing and market trends.
4. Production (30%):
- Maintain production capacity planning information to assure success with factory loading.
- Ensure seamless coordination with internal Boulder and Shanghai colleagues related to production and development issue to execute on time approvals and on time deliveries; assure the production meets the target cost structure, testing parameters, and product requirements of the company's brands.
- Manage weekly WIP reviews and tracking of bulk production progress with the U.S. and Shanghai Teams.
- Partner with QIT team to resolve and correct quality issues in a successful and timely manner.
- Conduct visits to factories. Attend in-line and final inspection on the 1 st production at factories and as needed.
5. Other (20%):
- Hands-on approach in daily activities.
- Lead the Merchandising team on a daily basis to assure all objectives and goals are achieved.
- Gain working knowledge of the company system.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
1. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong written and verbal communication skills In English and local language.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong PC skills to include MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proactive, passionate, energetic and fast-paced.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be a Team player.
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Global Perspective.
- Maintain good relationships with colleagues and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
2. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid experience in tents, apparel, and backpacks required. Additional experience in sleeping bags preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in development and sourcing with International companies.
- Good written and verbal English skills.
- College or University graduate.
- Studies in Textiles, industrial engineering, or financial management will be an advantage.
- PC proficiency in MS Office
