Merchandiser – Outerwear Garment Specialist

You will work under the guidance and supervision of the general manager.
You will have the responsibility of sourcing materials, sourcing outerwear product factories, developing samples, making costing and place orders to suppliers.

- Sourcing fabric and accessories locally and abroad.
- Developing collection and proto samples according to customer requirement.
- Sourcing new outerwear supplier in Vietnam.
- Being the interface between the office and the suppliers.
- Following fitting process from proto, fit sample to PPS approval and communicate accordingly with buyer.
- Checking fabric inspection (number of dye lots, identified defects).
- Applying garment testing and get results before fabric cutting
- Checking all samples sent (measurements, workmanship and fabric quality)
- Ensuring PPS is well made.
- Making QC files.
- Organizing and conducting PP meeting with QC/Manager and Sample room.
- Following the full production process according to our QC process
- Completing packing list (in buyer’s system or via Excel)
- Ensuring shipping documents are sent within one week after on board date and online delivery list is updated accordingly.
- Checking fabric balance with factory.

- Good command of English spoken and written. You will be the interface between the production and the office.
- Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills.
- More than 3 years experience in garment industry, outerwear fabric sourcing or outerwear fabric suppliers.
- Experience in dealing with fabric and accessories suppliers.
- Must be proactive with a solution/result-oriented attitude.
- You must be highly motivated.
- Negotiation skills.

- Team working skills.
- Good command in pack Office (Words/Excel/Powerpoint).
- Organized.
- Willing to learn.
- Team player.
