Key Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for leading a Product Supply Team to ensure strategic planning and merchandising activities of high quality for Eastpak; coordinating across businesses and developing long term and short term sourcing strategies to support the overall business growth.
Key Area of Responsibility:
- Lead, coach and support the Production merchandising team with an aim to ensure efficient and productive daily operations
- Monitor a pool of vendors & suppliers to achieve merchandise objectives (orders status, production plan, delivery lead time, quality, factory compliance…)
- Timely delivery of production reports and enhance capacity planning
- Ensure that the local merchandising team is aware of market development, resource capabilities, competitors’ activities and price movements. To make sure all merchandising work is carried out promptly and effectively in accordance with the objectives set by the Management.
- Periodically (Yearly & Seasonally) evaluate resources of production capacity availability and market conditions, especially in the course of the order placement. An updated key and secondary resource list should be prepared accordingly.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, monthly forecasts
- Support merchandise quality awareness among merchandising staff and work closely with the Quality Assurance Department.
- Act as a problem shooter for the team and a business partner with the counter part in the Europe divisions.
- Prepare statistics for analysis: samples prepared versus booked, key booked resource evaluation, etc., to assess performance of Divisions, manufacturers, etc.

Minimum Relevant Experience: 10 year(s)
Minimum Supervisory Experience: 5 year(s)
Minimum Academic Requirement: Polytechnic or university graduate
Required Written Language:
1: English Fluency: General/Quite Fluent/Local Level
