Merchandiser ( Japanese Speaker )

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position shall work closely with Japan HQ, in charge of merchandiser duties include production planning, order receiving & follow-up, inventory control & planning, contact with customers, covering production control from sample to bulk production process & shipment.

*Primary Job Functions:
- Perform as a bridge communicator to exchange all information between customers, partner with a parent company in Japan
- Receiving orders, balancing raw materials, monitoring production progress, making export documents.
- Follow up production plans, shipment and sales revenue
- Coordinate with the production sites to ensure a stable production line, catch up with customers' required delivery dates, ensure product quality.
- Coordinate with CAD department to ensure sample delivery schedule, obtain sample approval & proceed all preparation before bulk production.
- Managing suppliers and processing factories
- Monitor the factory's social responsibility assessment schedule indicated by certification agencies, the management or HQ, to promote improvement of nonconformities.
- Other jobs under management directive from time to time

*Division/Department: Sales
*Reports to: The Managers in charge of Factories; Japan HQ

- Male/ Female (22~30)
- University degree
- Proficiency in Japanese N2 or equivalent. Ability in English shal be a plus
- Willing to work in Factory (Binh Dien, Binh Chanh) or HCM city
- Experience in Merchandising jobs, esp fabric, garment, etc..
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Basic administration skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

*Work Location(s): HCM - Factory in Binh Chanh (Binh Dien), Ho Chi Minh City (shuttle bus for employees intown HCM); And/or HCM office in Bitexco & others.
