Merchandiser

• Responsible for merchandising activities, assisting with purchase order execution. Follow up/manage the orders/fabric specialize in garment.
• Resolve critical issues arising from merchandising and monitoring production status and order production to on – time shipment deadline of quality products and samples.
• Coordinate with internal department and external supplier to follow through the entire merchandising process, from product development, costing, sample approval to final garment completion.
• Liaising & sourcing with local factory vendor & supplier.

• University graduate in related field.
• With min. 3 years' relevant experience in sourcing & merchandising (from sampling to bulk), preferably in sizable trading companies/ buying offices.
• Good Knowledge of all kinds of fabrication such as cotton, linen, lycra, polyester, etc. for US, UK market.
• Well versed with USA & Int'l testing requirements and standards and needs to work with mills and overseas designers directly.
• Full knowledge of lab-test requirements.
• Initiative, hardworking, can work under pressure to meet deadline. Good communication skill with internal parties ( garment merchandisers, QCs, fabric tech, etc.) and suppliers.
• Good command of English and sound PC knowledge.
• Occasional trips required.
• Immediate availability is highly preferable
