Merchandiser In Garment Field

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Rich experience in garment production. Understanding the merchandising process (development, pricing, materials sourcing, purchasing, pre-production and production monitoring). Be able to control each single process for on time delivery together with in good quality.
2. Have experience in dealing/ communication with oversea Buyers on regular basic. Be able to tactfully manage and nurture relationship with Buyers.
3. Be able to work with HO (Head Office) (and/ or Buyer directly) and factory for T&A (Time & Action) and make production plan.
4. Be able to convert Techpack/ Buyer’s comments into understandable documents to factory and give clear instructions to factory.
5. Work with HO and factory to arrange and submit all types of samples on time/ in good quality.
6. Be able to check, approve and make comments on factory’s samples and work with factory, Tech team, QC to improve.
7. Monitor the materials shipment status. Make balance sheet. Work with fabric team and factory for production running smoothly.
8. Experience in material ordering and be able to approve the materials (trim card, carton, thread, poly bags,…..) as per Buyer’s requirements.
9. Co-ordinate with Tech team, QC and factory to solve problems arising during production.
10. Experience in working with Subcontracts like washing, printing, embroidery.

1. Have experience in garment production, merchandising is priority.
2. Garment FOB merchandising experience is preferable.
3. A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Strong planning. Negotiation skills including the ability to influence at all levels.
5. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Good using computer.
8. Good written and spoken English.
9. Willing to work under pressure.
10. Bachelor degree in Textile, garments, merchandising and related fields.
