Merchandiser (2 People) (Proficient in French or Italian, English and Vietnamese)

We are an Italian trading company specializing in wooden garden furniture for export to European and other markets, looking for a Merchandiser, who has a thorough knowledge of Vietnamese laws in general and of export-import activities.

Description of the job:
• Manage all the commercial activities in the field assigned.
• Find new suppliers in Vietnam and South East Asia.
• Ensure the best price, delivery date, quality and payment term for every purchase.
• Keep track of each order and take all necessary actions to avoid delay or quality issues.
• Work closely with customers/suppliers to fully understand specifications, quality requested and time frames.
• Communicate regularly with customers to inform about the status of his / her orders.
• Manage all purchasing follow-up activities: negotiations, quotations, proposals, contracts, warranties,...
• Ensure that all purchasing activities adhere to Viet Nam Tax Department regulations.
• Follow all reporting requirements as directed.

• Good French language skills (speaking and writing) and English. Italian is a big plus.
• University or College degree.
• Experience in merchandising or sales.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• High motivation, honesty, flexibility, carefulness and reliability.
