Medical Project Coordinator

***Role Description
The Medical Project Coordinator (MPC) will be responsible for leading and executing country projects of varying complexity and scope. By doing this, the colleague will develop and implement solutions to impactful business issues facing Pfizer.

The MPC uses strategic thinking, medical knowledge, analytical skills and continuous improvement methodologies, and measurement to analyze issues, drive strategy development and execution and/or develop and implement solutions to ongoing/ future projects.
The MPC provides project and program management support and is a critical partner with the project lead and sponsor of any project. The MPC will in addition to the above mention also support the Division by providing secretarial, administration, budget management and project coordination to the Medical Director.
The colleague will need to be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, have strong attention to detail, along with written, verbal and listening skills, presentation skills, teaming, facilitation, mental agility and relationship building skills.

***Responsibilities
• Ensure overall implementation of Medical Affairs Projects in compliance with appropriate SOPs
• Single point of contact of accountability for project management and, execution, and oversight of Medical Affairs projects and medically initiated programs
• Monitors the team progress through metrics stakeholder feedback and project timeline
• Oversees commitments to program deliverables
• To provide updates and weekly reports to the medical team
• Identifies, facilitates and /or oversees process improvement initiatives related to project management responsibilities
• To coordinate with third party vendors, governmental and non-governmental agencies in the execution of the MA projects
• Support medical training to the sales executives when applicable
• Models Pfizer Leader behaviors and Values through day-to-day interaction
• Creates and achieves annual Individual Development Plan (IDP) that identifies knowledge and skills gaps based on business and career goals
• Be responsible for meeting preparation/coordination if and when appropriate and in alignment with project team

• Bachelor’s degree required; MA/MS/MBA degree or other advanced degree preferred
• Prefer candidate with pharmacist background and experience working with one of these TAs Cardiovascular or Bone or Neuro Science
• Experience with aligning stakeholders, facilitating conflict, and communicating information in a way that enables leaders to have transparency on the underlying issues and potential solutions
• Strong oral and written communication/ presentation capabilities
• Fluent with technology solutions to manage projects including appropriate Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
• Able to be agile, quickly learn and adapt to the Pfizer culture.
