Media Data Administrator ( Australian Based Company; Attractive Benefits)

Overview
The Media Data Technician will work within the Operations team at The Company.
Primarily, this role encompasses intelligent data entry – populating metadata against media assets, using a number of processes.
The role will work closely with management and technology departments to make sure we are creating an ever more collated library of media assets for our clients.
Core to this role is attention to detail, and the ability to see through the noise of multiple data sets to find useful information.

Responsibilities
• Metadata population in our proprietary digital asset management platform. Usually this will take the form of three core tasks:
o Filtering information from a number of sources such as callsheets, TV production reports and talent contracts that relate to groups of media assets, and then inputting the relevant information as metadata in our proprietary cloud based digital asset management system.
o Tagging video and image assets with specific keywords from a dictionary of relevant terms.
o Working with spreadsheets to transform various file parameters into metadata information.
• Media File Management – organization and management of media files, incoming / outgoing, for workflows within department.

• Advanced experience in file and data management.
• Data analysis input experience/ capability
• High level computer literacy for both Mac/PC
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, managing internal and external expectations.
• Capacity to manage multiple accounts and projects concurrently.
• A demonstrated ability to work competently under pressure, within tight deadlines.
• Ideally understands or has had experience with image, video and layered art files
• Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented.
