Mechanical Engineer <Rotating & Statistic Equipment>

In order to build up Mechanical Team in JGC Vietnam, we are looking for 2 experienced Mechanical engineers. The positions are responsible for the following work:

For rotating and package equipment

* Prepare specifications, data sheets, calculations and requisitions for rotating (pumps) and package equipment (compressors, boilers, water treatment skids, foam skids, etc.)
* Prepare equipment Bill of Quantity (BQ) and/or review equipment vendor’s proposed BQ. Conduct Technical Bid Evaluation for vendor’s proposal.
* Coordinate, supervise, expedite, check/approve vendor’s documents, equipment installation supervision at site.
* To be communication focal point between JGC Vietnam and partners such as other JGC group companies, vendors and Clients. Process inputs/requests from related disciplines (such as Piping, Process, Civil, Electrical, Instrument, Quality Control, Project Management, etc.) then provide them necessary equipment information by self-judgment or consulting Clients/Vendors

For statistic equipment

* Prepare specifications, data sheets, calculations and conduct design engineering for statistic equipment such as exchangers, tanks, pressure vessels, etc.
* Prepare requisitions for equipment fabrication and conduct Technical Bid Evaluation for fabricator’s proposal. Supervise, expedite, check/approve fabrication documents.
* Prepare equipment Bill of Quantity (BQ) and/or review equipment vendor’s proposed BQ. Conduct Technical Bid Evaluation for vendor’s proposal.
* Coordinate, supervise, expedite, check/approve vendor’s documents, equipment installation supervision at site.
* To be communication focal point between JGC Vietnam and partners such as other JGC group companies, vendors and Clients. Process inputs/requests from related disciplines (such as Piping, Process, Civil, Electrical, Instrument, Quality Control, Project Management, etc.) then provide them necessary equipment information by self-judgment or consulting Clients/Vendors

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineering, Food technology, Biotechnology, Chemical machines, Heat engineering and refrigeration
- Having minimum 5 years’ experience at the same position
- Knowledge of operation principal and application of different types of pumps, exchangers, tanks, pressure vessels and industrial machineries.
- Knowledge of equipment design and fabrication practices. Knowledge of equipment distributors/fabricators
- Knowledge of international codes for equipment design, material and fabrication such as API, ASME, ASTM, NACE, etc.
- Good skill of using AutoCAD and Offices and other equipment design tools. Experience in using PV Elite is an advantage
- Good English communication including speaking, listening and writing (Higher than 600 TOEIC is preferred)
