Mechanical Engineer

- Manage all aspects of engineering issues for the projects in oil and gas industries, mainly engineering in mechanical and piping discipline.
- Responsible for the planning, implementation and management of the engineering work.
- Responsible for estimation work of the projects, by preparing M/R (material requisition) and RFQ (request for quotation), inquiring and evaluating proposals, and gathering cost data.
- Responsible for engineering management and coordination with project owner, authority and other related parties throughout the project including field engineering, offsite and onsite inspection and testing, etc., including not only mechanical and piping but also civil, electrical and instrument fields.
- Responsible for the implementation of the field engineering activities at site.
- Responsible for the schedule/cost control, project reporting.
- Responsible for the quality assurance / quality control issues, documents control issues, project coordination issues.
- Assist the manager and other engineers for all engineering work.
- Coordinate engineering issues with the Engineering Manager and other engineers, who are stationed in JFE head-office, Japan.
- Arrange, coordinate and preside the engineering coordination meeting.

An applicant shall have the academic background, high educational qualification and job experience necessary for the position. A minimum 10 years experience of engineering work and engineering management in oil and gas industries, with at least 3 years of the construction site field engineering experience, is mandatory.
The applicant shall be competent in speaking, writing and reading in English.
