To carry out planned and reactive M&E maintenance tasks safely and to an agreed standard within a defined portfolio to a required Service Level. To provide first line response to all emergencies during normal working hours and out of hours when on call

What you'll be responsible for:
• To undertake all M&E reactive and planned maintenance tasks allocated and completed to an agreed standard, and to be available when on-call to ensure effective response and resolution, to then satisfy customer needs/escalation where appropriate.
• To ensure parts and materials are ordered in a timely manner through company processes
• To effectively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems and provide effective solutions and escalate where necessary.
• Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
• Perform tests and run initial batches to make sure that the machine is running smoothly
• Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
• Detect minor problems by performing basic diagnostic tests
• Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery
• Check the performance of machinery
• Test malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed
• Adjust equipment and reset or calibrate sensors and controls
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings or topographical maps.
• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Maintaining electrical equipment.
• Working with a variety of technicians.

To be successful in this role you will have:
• A technical Degree or other relevant technical qualifications (Electrical, Electronic and Mechatronic).
• The requirement for a skilled and experienced engineer has become essential in order to minimise downtime within a fast paced, high pressure environment; with minimum supervision
• The ideal candidate will come from an industrial based background with experience maintaining industrial equipment
• Understanding of electrical drawing and principles and plc software logic would be an advantage.
• Flexibility/availability for emergency call out and weekend work to meet the operational needs of the business.
• Welding and hydraulic skills are an advantage. As well as permit to work systems.
• People management. With the ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, both verbally and written
• Fluent in English, Chinese is a plus.
Other Factors:
• The post holder must be able to work flexibly, as determined by business requirements this will involve travelling to client's premises
• This position may involve working weekends on a rota basis
• Experienced maintaining CNC machines
• Independent and self-motivated
