Mechanic Engineer

Role: Overall responsibility for all mechanical equipment installations and it’s maintenance at the newly established dynamic manufacturing company based in VSIP II-A industrial park in Binh Duong province


Duties will include and not be limited to:

Start-up phase
• Supervise the mechanical installation of the industrial equipment by contractors according to the requirements and manuals of the equipment supplier
• Be responsible for commissioning, qualification and start up of equipment
• Create, develop and implement all the SOPs and training material to guarantee the proper operation of equipment
Operational phase
• Implement, coordinate and supervise the maintenance and improvement activities for all mechanical installations
• Schedule Preventive and Planned Maintenance activities of the mechanical equipment
• Execute the Corrective and Breakdown maintenance when and where necessary and to take countermeasures to avoid recurrence
• Participate in improvement projects within the scope of expertise
• Lead, coach and develop mechanical technicians
• Analyses and controls the maintenance process to meet performance requirements
• Organize and implement planned maintenance program
• Monitor, report and propose actions to reduce the cost of maintenance
• Responsible to maintain the optimum inventory of the mechanical equipment spare part
• Ensure that all production and maintenance personnel strictly follow safety, quality and hygiene standards and regulation
• Conduct equipment training for our personnel as required, including the creation of manuals on a case-by-case basis
• Oversee the mechanical activities (modernization, design modifications, coordination, installation, start-up and training in the plant
• Manage the lifecycle planning for automation equipment
• Position reports to Manufacturing and Maintenance manager

Qualifications:

• University degree /Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• In-depth practical knowledge of mechanical equipment in food and beverages plants (Technical Drawings, Tolerances, Measurements, Mechanical Engineering)
• Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering
• At least 5 years of work experience in the maintenance
• High professional standards and strong work ethic
• Native speaker with fluent written and verbal English
• Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills (Fish Bone, 5 Why, ...).
