Materials Scheduler (Bien Hoa)

Purspose:
- Expedite order processing for Raw and Packaging Materials (~480 items): convert Purchase Orders and send to vendors within agreed lead time, monitor and manage delivery schedule to ensure materials are delivered in right quantity and follow requested ETA to meet production schedule.
- Implement the Import Logistic processes, work with Logistic forwarders to make sure the material flow run smoothly from the port to sites within logistic cost control.
- Coordinate with Supply Planning team members to control inventory, take care for Vendor OTIF and maintain proper and accuracy support docs for payment and audits.
- Manage vendors for the safety compliance applied for deliveries and follow code of conduct in overall business, control all import shipments comply with local customs law and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Daily follow up pending purchasing request (PR) for Raw and Packaging Materials in SAP and work closely with Procurement team, Planner, Vendors to get all data update into SAP for PO processing
- Get PO approved, send to Vendors and follow up order confirmation
- Daily communication with Vendors till shipment/delivery confirmed/effected and shipping docs issued. Work closely with Planners to delay or accelerate delivery to meet changing demand and control inventory at best level
- Update schedule in SAP and master file to follow up shipment
- Collect shipping documents for customs clearance
- Request and follow up duty payment with Finance then update Logistics forwarders for goods clearance.
- Work with Forwarders for custom clearance, solve issues related to Custom if occurs
- Work with Planners/Forwarders/Warehouse for shipment receiving plan and do the call-offs.
- Take care vendor OTIF follow up and report
- Collect and upload full and correct documents on shared drive to support payment
- Monthly report for consignment stock and follow up invoice issued
- Monthly Goods in transit report to support Finance closing system by month end
- Maintain daily data and other Material Master parameters in SAP at high accuracy level to support planning to make decision promptly
- Support supplier/business partners to understand and follow AkzoNobel safety rules and code of conduct in overall business

Other tasks:
- Support QC to communicate with supplier if any quality issue happened
- Negotiate with vendor to extend free time of demurrage charge, request CO form D/E if needed
- Working closely with Warehouse/Planners/Sales team to receive import RM on time to avoid demurrage charge
- Monitor logistic forwarder’s performance
- Submit ideas for CIP ideas, savings…
- Working at AkzoNobel Coatings Vietnam - Lot 107 Amata IP, Long Binh, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai

- University degree in business administration/Foreign Trade or equivalent
- At least 2 years working experience in purchasing in MNCs
- Good communication in English both writing and speaking
- Familiar with ERP system (preferable SAP)
- Can speak Chinese is a preferable
- Good communication & negotiation skill
- Can be problem solving by self
- Result oriented and customer focus mindset
- Understand customs clearance process is a preferable
