Materials Planning Assistant

Assist with day-to-day planning, analysis and purchase of materials that ensures adequate supplies are available to meet production requirements. Support and perform analysis of material requirements based on customer orders and forecast demands, work in progress, and support purchase orders management. Monitor and assess stock levels, set optimum inventory levels so goods in transit are delivered on-time to meet production scheduling deadlines. Assist with and take responsibility for data management and keeping the ERP system updated.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
– Assist with management of quantities of raw materials in inventory, in transit, scheduled work orders, work in progress and back orders
– Monitor and assist with stock control, analysis and control of non-moving stock for possible obsolescence
– Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements
– Propose and establish raw materials min/max and emergency stock levels with management guidance
– Coordinate with Production for materials needed and to meet production manufacturing schedules and requirements
– Evaluate materials demands based on customer orders and forecasts
– Assess and evaluate ERP reports and schedule orders to meet customer and production demands

- University Bachelor’s degree in one of the following majors: Materials Planning, Sourcing and Procurement or similar degree
- Fresh graduate up to 2 years work experience
- Studied in university or used an ERP system (Syteline preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and able to troubleshoot complex issues
- Hard working and a team player
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese – spoken and written
