Material Planning and Logistics (MPL) Engineers

NUMBER REQUIRED: 02
REPORT TO: MPL Area Manager

• Ensure suppliers are delivering parts in proper quantities to schedule
• Receive and verify new model parts to the Bill of Material (BOM) and ensure that the proper level of material is being used
• Develop and implement a plan to kit and feed the new model parts to the point of use for each pre-production build
• Oversee receiving and incoming traffic to ensure that new model parts are contained and separate from the current production materials
• Oversee the development of the MP&L Quality Process System (QPS) sheets by the MP&L Product Specialists
• Ensure that the Plan For Every Part (PFEP) database is updated to the latest part levels
• Identify and resolve all stock, floor space, location and manpower requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years technical work experience and troubleshooting in a Manufacturing / Experience in manufacturing engineering, Process Engineering, Production Supervision

Qualifications:
• Fundamental working knowledge of Logistics
• Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Demonstrated experience in accomplishing tasks and objectives.
• Previous Production supervision.
