Material Engineer (Packaging - Paper)

The Base Material Engineer takes ownership for Base material quality management (such as: Base, Auxiliary material issue resolution for production and complaint/claim; support to develop new supplier/ alternative material if need, and monitoring the material and performance of supplier, Mange the OSS in factory side…). He/she coordinates and executes material control plans to meet the specification and good for production, comply Quality and Food Safety System. Besides, he/she has the deep functional quality for printing and in charge to coordinate with Printing process Manager to solve the Printing issue and improve the printing quality

Detailed job duties:
• Supplier complaint/ claim administration, follow up until closed
• Participant in Local Material Supplier development/supplier audit
• Propose and administration to approve for local auxiliary material specification/ standard from the trial, testing result, legal and product requirements/ Tetra Pak Binh Duong execution
• Follow up/and analyze quality of material, drive in the Non-Conformance material until it is solved
• Deep functional quality for printing process
• Coordination of internal trial (local materials)
• Coordination of the change of material or OSS
• Work with specification owner about quality material’s specification
• Monitor material via the COA (Certificate of Analysis), COC (Certificate of Compliance), test report and randomly review/test the quality of material
• Coordinate with SPC (Statistical Process Control), QA and waste data, and efficiency of production
• Quarterly supplier performance reporting
• Participate in DMS activities, WCM audit
• Follow the management systems which Company is applied
• Support any other assignment from Quality Manager from time to time.

- Have bachelor degree Major in Material Engineer or relevance background
- 3 to 5 years of experience in QA, Production or R&D roles in material industries such as: Paper, Plastic, Ink, Polymer or Packaging in General
- Strong Numeracy, problem solving, Analytics and computer skills
