Material Development Expert

• Support the Product Development Team with a wide range of tasks associated with product life cycle management including the development, implementation and sourcing of products within their categories of responsibility
• Responsible for supporting the Product Development Team throughout the entire Material Development Process
• Responsible for tracking and updating status of Material Prototype and Confirmation of test sample deliveries. Update development status reports to insure timely delivery of all product material development.
• Managing, coordinating and maintenance of Material samples for all product lines and keeping the final recipe with confidentiality.
• Milestone chart and ensure target dates are adhered to R&D Manager.
• Present Material sample plates submissions to Design/Product Development for approvals (color, physical specifications and appearance)
• Develop processes to create materials used in a variety of products.
• Develop materials such as plastics and metals depending on product specifications into composite.
• Ability to create new composites or develop new uses for materials, such as making
Systems out of ceramic, metal or other eco-friendly materials.
• Develop composite materials, or study the atomic structure of materials in order to discover new applications for their mechanical properties and conductivity.
• Familiar to use power tools, lab equipment and computer technology to process materials.
• Analyze materials and data, conducting tests, troubleshooting, monitoring performance, insuring quality control and creating documentation.
• Responsible for developing new methods of testing, training technicians and lab workers,
• Ability to improve and develop new techniques in material and finishing.
• Participate in the production flow/system setup of new products
• Ability to set up process of meterial development, and creation of bill of materials (BoM)

Working place: Factory & Showroom are located at Lots F3 and F18, N4 and N5 Streets, Extended Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Zone, Hoi Nghia Commune, Tan Uyen Town, Binh Duong Province, Vietnam.
Candidates currently residing near the location of work, or those willing to move there, shall be advantage
Transportation will be also provided for employee who is living in HCMC and Binh Duong Town

• Candidates with background of Material Science in Chemical Engineering or candidates with good practical experience and achievements
• Knowledge in composite materials is a “must”
• Experience in Poly Resin Industry and in Fiberglass Industry or related material is an advantage.
• Must have 3 -5 year experience in this field is highly required.
• Computer literate is highly needed, like MS Office software
• Experience in managing and completing projects
• Willing to learn, open minded and optimistic
• Result oriented and persistent
• Mature to take responsibility towards work
