Marketing Planner

Working as part of a marketing and branding department, the Marketing planner develops and presents strategic marketing recommendations for all subsidiaries of Son Kim Retail Group. Reporting to a Head of Branding and Marketing, and multi-tasking over a number of projects given, the role is to ensure quality is never compromised.
Marketing planner is the foundation of any marketing projects, and provide the team with information gleaned from studying markets for relevant data. The ability to think beyond a project is also important, as Marketing Planner must establish where any plan will get approval from BOD. Closely following a brief, accuracy ensures a Marketing Planner knows both the subsidiaries and the target market, inside out.
Typical activities:
– Researching and gathering date to develop well-informed strategic plans for each subsidiary.
– Examining company businesses to get to know its brands and understand objectives
– Producing cohesive and intelligent plans to bring success to campaigns
– Generating original ideas with other members of the team
– Presenting findings to senior staff members and BOD.
– Develop Marketing action plan and keep tracking timeline.
– Implement marketing activities (Online/ Offline)
– Collect and monitor updated information of related businesses of company.
– Identifying potential problems and devising ways to rectify them
– Liaising with senior members of staff to receive feedback and create improvements to strategies
- Conduct market research and submit reports to head of department

- A proven track record in developing strategic plans that benefit the company
– A good knowledge of the media and how strategy planning influences it
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– The ability to make complex subjects understandable
– The drive to be successful and perform well in all aspects of strategic work
– The flexibility to work over a number of projects and balance your workload
Other requirements:
- Males or Females from 24-32 Ys
- Bachelor or Master degree in marketing, advertising, business administration or related field
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in marketing, advertising
- Excellent English skill, especially in speaking and writing
