Marketing Executive – Advertising & Events Coordinator

Job Purpose
The Marketing Executive will participate as member of a team of dedicated Marketing and Sales professionals managing internal and external marketing efforts. This position must utilize skills including team-based interaction, project management, goal setting and administrative support. The Marketing Executive must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate active listening and exhibit organizational skills. This is a demanding and diverse role that includes a mix of administrative tasks, international event coordination and creative work.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Create and manage project plans for various marketing and event activities
• Coordinate events, meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and organizing requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; managing mailing lists to ensure event success.
• Provide administrative support to each member of the marketing team as needed.
• Assist the HR department in office communications posted throughout the company, including but not limited to: social posts, posters and banners, hiring advertisements etc.
• Preparing and delivering marketing campaigns within key objectives
• Maintain relationships with the press, keeping them informed of upcoming events and offerings.
• Manage an advertisement schedule, making bookings, coordinating designs and messages with the graphic design team, negotiating on advertising costs and keeping accurate record of spend.
• Prepare and maintain marketing budget
• Marketing research and reports
• Coordinate and compile the annual brand magazine, sourcing sponsors, content and coordinating design.
• Gather and produce content, either by writing directly or by contacting employees, customers or partners for support.
• Liaising with media, printers and publishers as required and managing the production of marketing materials such as leaflets, brochures, posters and newsletters, including e-newsletters and videos
• Coordinating and distributing marketing materials (brochures, banners etc)
• Be creative and “think outside the box”
• Dealer communication in regard to marketing requirements

• University degree in Marketing/Commerce
• At least 3 year-experience in same position
• Ability to work effectively in a high pressure and multitasking environment
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Good computer skills using all major office applications
• Good organization and planning skills
• Sound understanding of sales process
