Marketing And Communications Manager

The Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF) seeks to recruit the Marketing and Communications (Marcomms) Manager with full time position (Monday – Friday) to be based in Ho Chi Minh City with an immediate start date.

The person’s primary responsibility is to ensure CNCF’s sustainability and development by maintaining and developing local and global CNCF communications.

Responsibilities:
Assist Director of Business Development in implementation and delivery of a globally consistent and engaging Marketing and Communications strategy true to CNCF’s vision, mission and values.

Marketing & Communications:
- To lead on the development and delivery of CNCF local and global communications and marketing strategies to enhance CNCF’s reputation and profile
- To work with and advise the Senior Leadership Team on any issues relating to the CNCF’s communications profile
- Develop and deliver a brand strategy and toolkit, managing its implementation in a way that accurately conveys CNCF’s vision, mission, value and beliefs
- Lead and subsequently support global CNCF’s marketing and communication activities, provide on-going guidance to allocated staff
- Oversee market research to support the development and organic growth of CNCF
- Build on the monitoring and evaluation processes for CNCF’s communications services
- Lead on the identification and integration of marketing and communication best practice
- Implement and manage strong working relations with Marketing Team and Global team to ensure consistent in all communications and that they are true to our CNCF message/ voice
- Drive forward the development of content for the website and social media
- Work with partners and individuals to manage relations for CNCF in order to raise the profile of its work and funds
- Lead on the organisation and delivery of events for CNCF

Other responsibilities:

- Generating new business leads that align with CNCF values and objectives
- Recommending opportunities to pursue and facilitate go/no go decisions with senior management team
- Understanding NGO current market, its competitors, and areas for growth
- Provides direct supervision of Marketing Officer/ Assistant to the benefit of CNCF
- Reviewing partnerships, identify themes and trends to understand existing partner needs and attracting new partners as well as future development
- Identifying potential partners, and the decision makers within the client organisations
- Researching and building relationships with new partners and donors alongside the Business Development Director
- Contributing to partner development through identifying, developing new relationships, and building existing relationships with partners
- Supervises work of other team members, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards true to CNCF values

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The Marketing and Communications Manager is a multi-functional role that would suit someone who is creative, confident and outgoing, but also well organised and systematic.

You must be committed to and passionate about CNCF’s vision, mission, and the work that we do, and comfortable presenting and representing the organisation in your daily work. You will be working with people at senior levels at corporates as well as high net worth individuals. You need to be fluent in English and preferably Vietnamese and able to develop, maintain and foster relationships at this level.

You will be a self-starter and innovator, unafraid to research and develop your own fundraising sources and event ideas. Absolute integrity is essential as is the ability to maintain accurate records and produce effective reports on fundraising progress and donor communication.

With a good eye for details, you will assure the quality of our regular communications with CNCF’s donors and event organizing, optimizing all channels, including digital and social media, to best effect. Good knowledge of IT systems would be an advantage.

Experience in the NGO or not-for-profit sector is preferred. Applications are encouraged from suitable candidates in the commercial sector who are committed to building strong communities, and relations between businesses and nonprofits.

Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of three years’ work experience in Marketing and Communications
- Experience in relationship-based sales development
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience in initiating, organising and managing events, campaigns or projects
- Strong ability to network, communicate effectively and build relationship with various audiences including senior level professionals, heads of companies and organisations
- Independent thinker with strong ability to analyse and solve problems
- Ability to multitask, perform effectively under pressure, and work as part of a small team with limited resources
- Strong verbal and good written communication skills (in English and Vietnamese)
