Marketing and Business Development Manager / Trưởng Phòng Marketing & Phát Triển Kinh Doanh

Key tasks of the position include:

Business Development
• Set and achieve targets for business growth through OBV booking systems and the OBV planning board.
• Identify key persons in each school or company for direct follow-up.
• Meets with potential and key clients, assisting the Executive Director with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
• To work with the OBV team to secure any business leads through engaging sales presentations using PowerPoint and sales kits.
• To ensure OBV maximizes repeat customers through utilizing positive end-user feedback.
• Undertake online advertising, ensuring it is targeted and relevant.
• Explore the viability of advertising and recruitment for open enrollment courses, particularly over the school holidays.

Marketing
• Create marketing materials and assist in the development of printed and digital media content.
• Maintain and cultivate any social media platforms.
• Assist in the development, maintenance and utilisation of websites, social media and digital marketing.
• Undertake roadshows, information booths and external presentations to expand the awareness of Outward Bound Vietnam.
• Generate and maintain sales kits that include brochures, flyers, and presentation materials.
• Prepare articles for submission to newspapers and magazines on various aspects of OBV.
• Create content / delivery methods for pre-course participant preparation briefings and support the preparation of participants for attending a course.
• Ensures effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
• Developing corporate press releases.
• Preparing corporate newsletters to provide regular updates of the company to business partners and strategic contacts.
• Organizing of events.
• Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media and direct mail.

Administration
• To schedule advisory committee and risk management committee meetings
• To understand and assist the course logistics, such as client liaison regarding travel to and from Quy Nhon or Halong or other locations as required by the Company, booking of buses, early departures or late arrivals.

Participant Safety & Client Liaison
• Undertake the first round of medical screening of participants prior to course, including calling parents or participants to obtain further information if required.
• Assist with any client needs in the absence of the Client Manager.
