Summary:
As the Manufacturing Operations Assistant Manager, you are responsible in planning, coordinating and controlling of production process to make sure the production performance is meeting the targets. You are required to implement and enhance the lean system in entire plant to ensure effective lean system achievement as per the company standard to achieve lean execution excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule and ensuring the production is cost effective
• To ensure the products are produced on time and are in good quality by monitoring the production processes according to schedules
• Work closely with various functions such as maintenance, planning and quality control to implement the right company policies and goals
• Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment while ensuring the healthy and safety guidelines are followed
• Lead the respective team to implement lean system as per the company standard requirements and coordinate with all pillars to deploy lean system in the plant as well as lean methodologies or tools to all pillars and teams
• Build capability for pillar team member to achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) results Manage the projects’ cost and profit to achieve plant saving target

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
• Bachelor’s in any related field
• Minimum 5 to 6 years of working experience in related field in lean and production management position
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priority, identify to address problems and meet deadlines
• Ability to create and manage the production budget
