Manufacturing IT Systems Director

♥ Ensure that we have a strong ERP/MRP (currently Odoo, but going to rebuild) which by the end of the first year should:
- Model all key manufacturing and distribution processes of our VN facility
- Is our accounting system of record for Vietnam including having the capability to hold and reconcile inventory flow (including procurement and delivery of finished goods), accounts, and measure key inputs such as labor and machine time
- Can be integrated with our worldwide systems both 1st and 3rd party (e.g. SAP, our homegrown Order Management System, etc.)
- Minimize adjustments to quantities of raw goods during cycle counts
♥ Be a strong partner to our VN leadership in both problem-solving and education on the capabilities of our IT systems
- Partner with our Production team to ensure the system is usable to team members and agile enough to allow rapid process improvement
- Partner with our accounting team to make sure it is possible to reconcile the manufacturing processes with the accounts and cash
- Partner with our HR team to ensure that manual effort is captured sufficiently to support strong KPIs for team members
♥ Be a strong individual contributor and team leader
- Capable of getting your hands dirty to understand specific problems in our systems and propose strong solutions
- Capable of hiring a strong team to ensure we can achieve solutions on an aggressive timeline
- Strong people manager who will motivate and coach your team
♥ Ensure that every user is trained properly and understand MRP (Odoo) capabilities as it relates to their job and how it helps them to deliver on their tasks

Position specific:
♥ Languages. Candidate have to have a Bilingual / Expert level of english in order to interact with the US based team.
♥ Technical expertise. Candidate must have a strong foundation on systems implementation especially on MRP/ERP systems and have worked with a fast paced international manufacturing facility.
♥ Problem solving. Candidate must be a Smart problem solver, able to break a complex issue into its components and solve problems effectively and efficiently while paying attention to every important detail.
♥ Operations-Focused. Candidate should have a good understanding on how manufacturing and product flows work.
♥ Active communicator. Candidate should be able to influence peers and communicate to every level of the company so wins, needs, opportunities and risks are understood by all necessary parties.
♥ Independent. Candidate must be a self-starter individual able to get stuff done.
♥ Management. Capable of hiring and managing a high-caliber team
