Basic Job Functions:
Responsible for the site Deposition/Submodule/Finishing system operations and alignment, tool and process improvement that may involve physical change to the equipment, and implementation and fan-out of qualified process/equipment changes. Responsible for overseeing of the Deposition/Submodule/Finishing Manufacturing Engineering team, which has responsibility for manufacturing solution development and qualification, global equipment and process roll out. Responsibility also includes Deposition/Submodule/Finishing tools sustaining and matching in the base plant. Provide technical guidance and ensure sound engineering procedures and effective use of facilities. Ensure that products and processes are introduced and the designs are capable of being manufactured to meet the organization's objectives. Act as an advisor and coach concerning engineering and manufacturing related issues to facilitate teamwork and continuous improvement to management and the workforce. Responsible for all Engineering function at the Deposition/Submodule/Finishing tools providing engineering support and solutions to ensure the process maintains the baseline for Efficiency, Stability, manufacturing yield and throughput in a cost efficient manner. The incumbent is expected to provide strong leadership to the Sustaining Engineering team, coaching and mentoring personnel on all aspects of the Deposition/Submodule/Finishing process, and coaching when changes or improvements are necessary.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
• Work with EH&S to improve LOTO, Deposition/Submodule/Finishing manufacturing process, process equipment, documentation and procedures to ensure they are safe, effective, and executable
• Execute and support all EH&S programs and initiatives to reduce injury rate
• Responsible for Deposition/Submodule/Finishing tools improvement that may involve physical design changes to the equipment
• Responsible for worldwide implementation and fan-out of qualified process and equipment changes
• Responsible for process and equipment-qualification and support operation of production equipment worldwide
• Continually improve the plant to produce modules per the base plan and meet or exceed the reforecast customer goals
• Apply TOC principles to identify constraints and eliminate them, further increasing production throughput
• Develop systems and tasks to monitor and drive cost per watt
• Work with Development Engineering to improve module efficiency and cycle time improvement projects
• Continuously improve yield and reduce defect rates at Final Audit
• Develop plans for the implementation of new technology including the implementation of capital plans
• Utilize visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization and plant performance in general
• Has responsibility for manpower planning, elimination of waste, quality and safety compliance.
• P&L responsibility over relevant cost centers, develop budget and approve costs for engineering department

Experience:
• +10 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• 3-7 years of engineering leadership or management experience
Education:
• BS in EE, ME, Chem E, Physics, Material Engineering or technical degree in a related engineering field required
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
Required Skills:
• Strong Experience in Manufacturing data mining & Analyses by using "JMP" (Statistical software from SAS)
• Proven knowledge of solar and glass manufacturing
• Excellent computer skills
• Proven organizational and supervisory skills
• Six sigma background
• Statistical background with strong knowledge of SPC
• Knowledge of Theory of Constraints
• Strong background in Robust Engineering and Continuous Improvement
• Proven knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Excellent communications and problem solving skills
Language Requirements:
• Proficient in English Language (written and spoken)
• Proficient in Vietnamese Language (written and spoken)
• +10 years of manufacturing engineering experience

Education:
