***POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Business Consultant 4.0 is a key contributor in promoting and implementing Lectra’s solutions (hardware and Software) for our prospects and customers. He/She supports the sales teams in selling our solutions through his/her contribution during the presales process, demonstrates the benefit of our solutions and pilots the implementation. He/she is conducting audits and leading the delivery of business consulting solutions on Customers’ projects. As the Customer’s first trusted advisor on business-related topics including strategy and operations, the Manufacturing Business Consultant 4.0 highlights the business value generated by the initiative, in line with Lectra’s Product Strategy, and promotes this value to meet the client’s business goals and objectives.


***DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The first responsibility of the Manufacturing Business Consultant 4.0 is to ensure the scoping of the project, the gap analysis and the business process assessment. As a bond between the customer and Lectra sales, he / she leads the definition of the project (sizing, resources, etc.) and contributes in running the total cost ownership calculation.
In partnership with the sales team, the Manufacturing Business Consultant 4.0 also supports the qualification of the project opportunity during the presales stage and contributes in making project and proposal adjustments to meet customer’s request at the negotiation stage.

Acting as the Project Lead, he / she is responsible for defining planning, processes, organisation & KPIs and for delivering and following-up the project. He / she will be the first point of contact of the customer during the implementation phase and will ensure the solution installation, deployment and an on-site customer support (start of production, customers’ acceptance tests, solution configuration, ramp-up support).

Finally, his / her proximity with the Customer, allows him / her to search for opportunities to upsell and cross-sell new solutions.

***EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor degree in industrial engineering discipline or any related area will be required. Master degree will be a strong plus.
• 5 years or above working experience will be a minimum, ideally covering different levels of the product lifecycle management (Line Planning, Costing, Creation, Pattern design, Manufacturing, …)

• Solid industry expertise and knowledge ideally in garment manufacturing industry, in terms of strategy, business evolutions & challenges and common operational issues.
• Capability to lead a project in terms of high quality standard delivery for the client, respect of the contractual engagement from both sides, development of the team, creation of a new customer reference
• Capability to define and manage the business goals and scope of change initiatives.
• Capability to investigate, evaluate, analyse and classify data
• Capability to measure and improve customers' performances throughout business process reengineering and continuous improvement methodology.
• Capability to identify financial impacts of inefficiencies and set up a different scenario.
• Capability to apply Lean Principles.
• Ability to synthetize and communicate clear messages, adapted & targeted to the different audiences they address.
