Manufacturing Automation and Factory Solutions Engineer

● Manufacturing automation - identification and development of next generation manufacturing platforms
and processes, accelerating conversion to digital workflow
● Customer factory automation solutions -identification and development of factory automation solutions
that work with our embellishment, trim and packaging products to add value for our customers by driving
supply chain speed, productivity, and sustainability
● Ongoing collaboration and communications with colleagues and stakeholders across all functions -
including factory solutions and IPPS, supply chain and operations, retail brand and factory sales - to
understand priority needs and opportunities
● Technology scouting and open innovation - engage in processes to proactively identify potential solutions
and partners, establish and engage in ongoing practices to build a culture that encourages trying new
things and failing fast to drive rapid learning
● Innovation and process improvement - through effective problem solving and ideation, proposing and
implementing changes to work processes and new technology
● Supporting technology and product roadmaps for near and long term strategy - recommending and
advising on capital investments, equipment modifications, and technology improvements
● Project management – effectively leading project teams and proactively managing execution of priority
initiatives to deliver improved processes and results
● Providing technical support to operations and commercial functions for automation opportunities
● Supporting innovation of new products and solutions
● Coaching, training, and development of required skills and capabilities in others

● Bachelor’s degree in engineering or commensurate training and work experience with demonstrated
technical expertise across a range of products and technologies
● Minimum 5 years related work experience - manufacturing technologies, operations, process
improvements, and problem solving
● Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with limited supervision
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
● Ability to coach, train, and develop others
● Ability to effectively work, positively influence and collaborate with others
● Ability to travel globally when required to support business, ranging 25-75% of the time
