Mandarin Teacher

1. Developing and executing the preparation, planning and delivery of employee-centered learning activities for the employees in the class and on the floor.
2. Being a facilitator in the classroom and taking an interactive role with students/employees.
3. Using a range and balance of teaching strategies.
4. Grouping strategies using a variety of different learning situations, including whole class, small group, partner wok and individual work; at desks, on the floor, etc.
5. Building on what students know and differentiating to meet student needs.
6. Ensuring that the classroom environment well-managed, properly ordered and neatly presented.
7. Planning to ensure that “students achieve more than they think they can”, by collecting and using data, and other formative and summative assessments.
8. Planning which accommodates a range of ability levels and learning styles; teacher is expected to modify and accommodate for students as needed, i.e. accommodating individual language needs, student support services, student who are struggling as well as students who need more of a challenge.
9. Planning in a collegial and professional manner with peers, showing respect, being prepared and on time, and adhering to the organization wide meeting norms and team’s essential agreements at all time.
10. Involving students/employees, Store Operations Management Team and colleagues in the assessment process on a regular basis and as appropriate.
11. Involving students in shared reflection during, and at the end of, each unit, on a consistent basis.
12. Evaluating the program collaboratively with colleagues, Store Operations Team, students as appropriate, using agreed flexible systems.
13. Keeping all the language courses attendance records and all document related to the course
14. Promote a culture of collaborative learning and knowledge sharing.
15. Measure the impact of all L&D programs and services in relationship to key business priorities.

- 2 years of Mandarin teaching experience
- Demonstrate ability to get things done by deadlines
- Be enthusiastic and proactive
- Have a good negotiation skill
- Have communication skills in English both oral and written being an advantage.
- Computer literate especially on Excel & Microsoft Office platform
- Be able to inter-act with people from different background
- Have good practice of time management
- Be punctual and be able to work independently
