We have established a methodology for company building where all our ventures must reach significant revenues within 6 months from launch and establish profitability within 24 months from launch. Prior to launch, each venture is researched in-depth and passes a rigorous investment committee.
fram^ currently has the following business models in its investment portfolio:
Carmudi Vietnam – leading car classified site in Vietnam (acquired from Rocket Internet in 2017)
SmartBuddy – price comparison website for finance and insurance products in Sri Lanka and Vietnam
Nordic Coder – coding academy equipping Vietnamese engineers with the necessary tools to conquer the international work environment
Eve HR – digital employment benefits venture in Vietnam utilizing group buying for employee retention
Lasluz – digital platform connecting the best tutors with students in Vietnam
DragonLend – venture specialized in providing unsecured loans to small companies typically excluded from the traditional lending
Bidbuddy – an online bidding platform for second hand products in Vietnam
Wowmelo – an ecommerce “pay later” model that allows shoppers to pay with a 14 day invoice based on a credit assessment
Buildde – an online platform for home improvement products in Vietnam
Leveraging our unique mix of long track record of successful company building, our world-class inhouse IT-engineering talent pool, as well as the cost efficient landscape of South East Asia – we have established a proven platform for making our challenging targets materialize.
The management, board and investment committee of fram^ has over seven decades of joint experience of starting, growing and operating successful companies in emerging markets. Together we will be building the next digital industry leaders in the emerging economies of South East Asia!
