Mô tả công việc
Objectives of the position:
• Projects: Be responsible for corporate and strategic projects to drive the BASF Vietnam Roadmap.
• Transplants: Identify and develop new business opportunities with Japanese and Chinese transplants.
• Others: Handle operations for businesses (BU) without manpower allocation.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:
Projects:
• Implement BVL Roadmap measures by identifying and implementing new business opportunities (including new BU projects).
• Sustain the growth project pipeline by identifying new businesses, potentials and opportunities arising from customer including new application, expansion, investment by organizing opportunity finding, deep dive or ideation workshops for the sales managers.
• Support business unit “Go to market” by building necessary internal and external networks together with strategic partners (authority, distributor, applicator, institute, application lab, etc.).
• Support and facilitate necessary local business excellence initiatives to increase our success rate and faster realization of business unit project pipeline by participating in customer events, analyzing potential projects, updating to business unit for prioritizing time and resources to meet desired results.
• Coordinate implementation & monitoring of identified key projects / initiatives:
- Net Promoter Score Implementation
- Salesforce Customer Relationship Management
- Next Generation Business Architecture (SAP 4-Hana)
- Distribution Channels management – analyze and implement identified actions.
• Coordinate and develop some businesses with no-headcount in BASF Vietnam:
- EDM merchandise business (electronic material) – support and grow the business
- BASF New Business Energy Storage System (sulfur sodium batteries) – identify new customers
Transplants:
• Identify & develop new business opportunities relating to Japanese transplants in Vietnam together with the relevant business units.
• Identify & develop new business opportunities from Chinese & Taiwanese transplants in Vietnam together with the relevant business units.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
• Degree in Business, Chemistry or similar.
• Experience in Sales or Marketing or Business development.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the chemical Industry, with a broad and detailed knowledge of the Vietnam chemical market.
• Solid understanding of important business functions (especially project management, marketing and sales).
• Knowledge of matrix organization (especially in organization/ set-up and approach/methodology in strategy development).
• Fluent English. Japanese or Chinese speaking is prefered.
• Competencies required: Act with Entrepreneurial Drive, Demonstrate Customer Focus, Communicate Effectively, Drive Sustainable Solutions.
• Experience in Sales or Marketing or Business development.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the chemical Industry, with a broad and detailed knowledge of the Vietnam chemical market.
