Manager, Strategic PMO

The vision of the Strategic PMO is to work with our executives, our delivery teams and our market PMOs to build project Projects and capabilities that achieve our Vietnam strategy and are positioned for execution excellence – and we support our delivery teams by providing training, sharing best practice and building a strong community.

To support this vision, to provide the capabilities and to deliver on our priorities, Project Governance & Reporting will drive world class excellence in project governance and project reporting practices in Vietnam across the enterprise Project of projects, resulting in improved time to market and the full realization of benefits; in support of the enterprise strategy.

Key result areas:

+ Ensure the quality and execution of project governance across Vietnam:

- Execute governance framework for business case approval in conjunction with the Project Office Steering Committee & - Vietnam Project Committee guidelines.
- Review business cases to ensure the inputs are of a consistent and high quality and aligned with business strategy.
- Improving the quality of business cases to provide a clear and concise roadmap and overall business strategy.
- Support the review of the pipeline of work and budget against projects.
- Localise Regional delivery framework and governance and support the rollout of project changes into Vietnam.

+ Monitor and control project progress at an enterprise level:

- Ensure continued compliance of the Project Management policy (ODF) and Delegation of Authority (DoA).
- Support the system to monitor project progress and financials, providing further transparency and supporting management decisions.
- Capture and track milestones for regular reporting.
- Assess and report key delivery risks, issues and dependencies as part of Project governance.
- Generate regular executive reporting to enable clear understanding of Project status to enable informed decisions. (time, cost, scope)
- Contribute to the reporting and compliance of audit requirements and the Project Management policy and standards.
- Take other ad hoc projects as may be required.

+ Support the use and compliance of Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) tools:

- Support and continuously improve the use of PPM across Vietnam (Planview).
- Maintain and update the Project Library
- Ensure the completeness and integrity of our project data and collaborate with Regional PMO and end users as required.

- Strategic: be able to improve business outcomes by applying strategic thinking and making appropriate recommendations in connection with delivery of long-term strategy.
- Analytics: required to bring together large volumes of information and highlight the key themes and make recommendations for a senior executive audience.
- Financials: understanding financial fundamentals and commercial drivers behind project business cases.
- Change Management: positively engages with and supports, advocates, communicates and implements change.
- Collaborative: Seeks to understand others' contrasting perspectives in order to overcome resistance and find common ground.
- Supportive: guiding and coaching project delivery teams and sponsors to implement project/program outcomes, building an environment of confidence and trust.
