Mô tả công việc
PURPOSE:
Support and develop the creation of radical* and disruptive** FTW innovations with long-term perspective, with product as primary focus.
Drive product Engineering (with extensions in applied process, materials and technologies), providing insights for Future innovations.
*radical: innovations that drastically modify existing business models.
** disruptive: innovations to create a new market opportunities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish effective relationships with HQ Futures, implement and support FUTURE innovation roadmap.
Act as a Project Manager, drive the development of FUTURE products and technologies within defined timeline, in accordance with the design and technical requirements while maintaining an emphasis on performance, quality, integrity, as well as being on the forefront of technology and the market.
Manage and provide FUTURE projects tracking and regular reporting of status updates to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with ME, STO, material, engineering, tooling teams, implement and optimize the processes to maximize the speed and profitability.
Working with suppliers to identify potential production obstacles and provide solutions in early development stage to optimize value/cost viability ratios through efficient manufacturing techniques to ensure the best innovative products possible within given targets.
Intellectual Property creation and protection with Future Innovation Teams and Legal.
Takes an active role in the costing process by working in collaboration with LO and T1/T2 costing on evaluating applicable cost scenarios towards reaching technology cost targets and targeted margins/FOBs on all products.
Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with HQ / LO and other key parties as listed below. Encourage performance culture and 3C behaviors internally and externally.
Implement technical guidelines and standards for downstream stakeholders, provide comprehensive documentation such as project transfer package, AQ plan, best practice for project handover.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
University or College Degree, preferably Project Management or Industrial Engineering background.
5-6 years of relevant work experience in the footwear industry in technical and/or product creation functions.
Good understanding of footwear manufacturing including pattern engineering, CAD, mould making, material processing, testing, QA/QC etc.
Good understanding of costing and design for manufacturing/profitability principles.
Ability to create, plan and deliver presentations with good skills.
Fluent spoken and written in English and Chinese.
Strong communication skills to work under a diverse culture.
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Project Management, basic operations of Adobe Illustrator, Rhino.
University or College Degree, preferably Project Management or Industrial Engineering background.
