Manager Production Footwear

Production Line Management, Quality Assurance, On-Time delivery. Evaluate supplier’s quality process and capability. Support and lead onsite production team to manage suppliers ensuring Puma production meeting product requirements, quality standards and delivery schedule.

• Daily production monitoring and line evaluations including, quality assurance and process compliance evaluations.
• Review and decide to reject or release material lab test report.
• Checking production lines (from cutting to packaging) issues and correct immediately all problems happening on the lines. Prioritizing and problem solving operational issues.
• Random check raw materials / finished goods warehouse to ensure factory’s strictly follows Puma S.O.P.
• Random check if factory strictly follows Puma Code of Conduct.
• Review TOPO finished good inspection system / Q.A audits
• Review factory’s raw material delivery report with production planning head.
Weekly Quality Presentation Meeting with factory’s production / Q.C / Q.A head and all related local production leaders.
• Meeting with factory manager to review what happened in the factory during the week.
• Daily meeting with PUMA Quality Inspectors to ensure all information are correct, on time.
• Submit Red Flags / Major Issues to Branch Manager / Senior Manager.
• Submit Monthly Dashboard & KPIs Report to Branch Manager / Senior Manager.
• Work with PUMA Engineering Manager to conduct / review Production Trial Run. All Puma products set with correct S.O.P.
• Communicate with Customer Service / Planning Department to ensure that all information on time.
• Verify CPR versus DPSR prior to submission. Bi-Weekly submission to Branch Manager / Senior Manager and PIT.
• Ensure raw materials used according to the material specifications
• Actively involved in setting up / implementing F – cat Inspection system

- University Degree or Technical Degree
- At least 5-7 years working experience in shoe industry, 3-5 years in management level
- Experience in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance / AQL, Process flow compliance, Footwear materials
- Working under pressure, team-work spirit and working with a diverse group of backgrounds
- Details and result oriented, fast decision making
- Excellent English communication, Chinese speaking is a plus
