Mô tả công việc

1. Overview and Objectives of the Position
Manager of Admissions Compliance role has key responsibility for assessing, and leading a team of assessors, to determine the eligibility of international students for admission, and assessment of DIBP student visa criteria of Genuine Students and Genuine Temporary Entrants. This assessment is based on requested documentary evidence and is intended to secure a positive student visa outcome. The position provides efficient and effective administration processes using various international student management systems to support the international recruitment objectives of the Australasia Division of Navitas.

3. Key Result Areas
Provision of efficient and effective administration by:
• Supervising the team of GTE assessors.
• Applying a thorough understanding of the DIBP Genuine Student (GS) and Genuine Temporary
Entrant (GTE) criteria in the context of the DIBP Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF) for Vietnam.
• Possessing a high-level understanding of the concepts and rules necessary to provide information on the academic eligibility of international applicants with reference to materials such as NOOSR Country Education Profiles and UK NARIC and internationally recognised tests.
• Preparing and undertaking GTE assessments based on eligibility criteria and associated documentation in a timely manner to maximize international recruitment objectives.
Assessments will include, but not limited to, interviews, financial document checks, verification of work history and documents.
• Maintaining high level of competency in the various international databases, ie. StudyLink and Sales Force, to ensure continuous and accurate data records of all applicants in compliance with Navitas policies.
• Monitoring and reporting on the quality of applications and associated documentation.
• Timely response to emails and phone enquiries and preparation of ad-hoc correspondence related to student admissions.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of admissions processes and documents with regular meetings with SCO staff to say up to date with market trends, ensure Navitas processes are in sync with DIBP guidelines and visa trends.
• Regular reporting to Business unities to ensure they are kept informed about GTE processes and changes to local policy interpretation.
• Ongoing training of agents to ensure they have an understanding of the GTE requirements and process.

Provision of effective and efficient admissions compliance services to:
• Prospective students concerning course and other admission information, and eligibility for admission and academic credit, GTE and GS criteria.
• Agents concerning admissions process, GTE / GS criteria, and status of applications.
• BU’s to facilitate admission of students and ensure GTE and GS criteria are current and leading to an acceptable visa success rate.

4. Key Accountabilities:
• Determine, in conjunction with individual BU’s, the KPI’s for positive student visa outcomes and student visa approval rates.
• Ensure the team meet these KPI’s.
• Accurate Information on eligibility based on good working knowledge of overseas education systems and qualifications and the international admissions criteria for all Navitas programs.
• Finalisation of GTE assessments produced in line with BU policy and procedures and in a timely manner.
• Determine and ensure the team successfully meet the agreed KPIs for turn-around times for GTE Assessment processing.
• Ensuring applications are referred in a timely manner to appropriate officers.
• Application data maintenance in the relevant Navitas student management systems is recorded with a high level of accuracy to ensure reports from the databases are reliable.
• Feedback on application quality and documentation is reported regularly to the SCO and BU teams.
• Ensure high satisfaction in customer service experience.
• Determine and ensure the team Meet KPI’s on phone and email responses.
• Alert supervisor to emerging issues and recommend improvements to processes and the student experience.

Provision of effective and efficient admissions services to ensure:
• Prospective student’s needs are met and exceeded.
• Advice is provided to agents on progress of applications in a timely manner.
• Effective and efficient advice is provided to relevant Navitas staff with regards to GTE assessment processes.
• Support and advice is provided to international students in line with relevant policy.
• Support and advice is provided in line with BU Policy and relationships are maintained with Key stakeholders.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

i. A relevant degree qualification and/or equivalent professional administrative training and GTE assessment experience in a large and complex educational organisation

ii. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Australian international education including application assessment in accordance with University or College policies and procedures and a comprehensive knowledge of Streamlined Student Visa Framework and related DIBP criteria

iii. Experience in managing a team.

iv. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of attention to detail and proven ability to exercise judgement and initiative

v. High level of computer competency, including data management through record uploads and data retrieval in large scale databases and word processing skills

vi. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with and establish effective professional relationships with internal and external clients from a range of backgrounds and cultures

vii. Proven organisational, time management and administrative skills to meet KPIs

viii. Demonstrated knowledge of University and/ or Pathway program requirements and rules.

ix. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently under broad supervision and as part of a team and to maintain a high level of efficient client service
