Manager - Field Biology, Crop Protection

1. Manage and implement all global and LCM (product life cycle management) field trials (on fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, seed treatment, and others) as assigned, through proper planning, designing and execution of trial protocols, in accordance with BASF policies and procedures and the EUPs (experimental usage permits)
2. Liaise with regional biologists, and regional R&D team on protocols, updates and implementation of the trials
3. Liaise with local experts from universities, institutes and government agencies for cooperative trials
4. Ensure that all trials are conducted under good agronomic practice for all target crops and pests
5. Manage trial data results and ensure that they are reported on a timely manner
6. Supervise and manage the maintenance of plant disease cultures, insect cultures, major weed seed inventory in the laboratory and ensure the availability of the major crop diseases, insects, weeds in the station for trials
7. Submit the respective monthly reports on time
8. Supervise, train & coach to enhance working efficiency, quality and professional skills of subordinates.
9. Develop innovative techniques to conduct the assigned trials efficiently
10. Take a lead role in the maintenance of the working place and equipment by ensuring they’re always in clean and orderly conditions.
11. Take a lead role in the proper implementation of BASF safety, health and environment policies and procedures.

 Degree in Crop Protection / Agronomy
 At least 5-years in technical development / pesticide field testing
 Experiences in leading the team
 Good knowledge of crop production practices, pest and field trial implementing
 Good communication in English and Computer skills (MS. Office).
