Mô tả công việc
EHS Management
• Control all functional EHS costs and budget that include talent development of functional employees and on-demand basis EHS services requested by the workplace, laboratories, tollers / warehouses and related facilities.
• Establish and deliver competitive, reliable and high quality EHS services according to country needs.
EHS Training.
• Build competence in EHS training and development in the country.
• Recognize and enhance own contribution as the training provider to meet customer and partner needs.
• Contribute to long-term, mutually benefit for training and in line with the business model.
Risk Management
• Benchmark the EHS performances (i.e. Assess the effectiveness of the implementation of EHS programs.).
• Identify, assess and evaluate the potential hazards and risks in order to plan and initiate EHS activities to mitigate EHS risks integrated into supply chain process and business activities.
Crisis Management
• Ensure comprehensive Emergency Response policies and procedures in the country.
• Arrange for meeting, training and exercises to be held at the specified frequencies.
• Proactively inform and advise the Leader of the Crisis Management Team.
• Provide expert advice on all safety, health and environment matters.
• Complete and distribute the Rapid Accident Report if appropriate and notifies upwards through the Incident and Crisis Management Organization, with regular situation updates.
• Review the Incident and Crisis Management Manual regularly.
• Log all EHS related events occurring during a crisis.
Legal Compliance
• Update on new regulatory requirements and assess their potential impact on chemical regulation compliance.
• Establish and maintain database on all applicable local EHS laws and regulations.
• Interface with AC/E, national regulatory agencies and country management on behalf of country for EHS issue management and advocacy.
Management Plans and Programs
• Support integration of new sites, labs or tollers / warehouses (Due Diligence Process, know-how transfer, EHS comments, consulting on successful practices).
• Compile service catalogue and conduct service dialogue with stakeholders to fine-tune the service scopes.
• Resource provider on demands and prioritize the needs to ensure high quality deliverables to customers.
Objectives and Targets
• Contribute and share the best practice to stakeholders and relevant units.
• Develop annual EHS targets with the management team according to the legal and other compliance requirements, significant EHS risks and impacts, stakeholders’ views and business inputs.
Stakeholder Management
• Represent BASF in regulatory agencies and chemical associations, to advocate on country specific EHS issues and national legislations that may impact the sustainable growth of BASF.
• Coordinate with national governments and NGOs on EHS matters.
RC Program
• Establish Statements of RC policy and objectives.
• Act as “National Trade Control Officer (NTCO)” as a local front line to work with country management and local Business unit on compliance decisions and apply or work with relevant parties, e.g. Supply chain, sales/marketing, etc., to apply for appropriate license/permits to ensure compliance.
• Act as Country “Transportation and Distribution Safety Advisor” to ensure compliance of safety and security standards for all modes of transportation and incorporation of Transportation and Distribution Safety Performance in the Procurement Process.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Bachelor’s degree required, Masters or PhD degree will be an advantage: Environmental Engineering, Science, Engineering, Chemical or equivalent.
- At least 5 years working experience in EHS area. A leadership experience would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and management skills, familiarity with the local legislation system and legal requirements in EHS. Must have good understanding of scope and function of EHS units.
- Competencies required: Demonstrate Customer Focus, Communicate Effectively, Drive Sustainable Solutions, Develop Self & Others.
- At least 5 years working experience in EHS area. A leadership experience would be an advantage.
