The role and responsibilities

Working closely with the Director Human Resources, the Manager Compensation, Benefits and HR Services will take a lead role in the effective design, development, implementation, communication and administration of RMIT Vietnam’s compensation and benefit programs in order to support and promote employee attraction, motivation and retention agendas in accordance with business requirements.  Key areas of focus are as follows:

Payroll and payroll-related activities management
Budget, reporting and records
Compensation and benefits program management.
Job evaluation
HR compliance and formality
People management

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS 7.0, or BULATS Advanced level (BULATS score 75) or equivalent.

To be eligible for this position you must be a Vietnamese citizen.  Applications received from non-Vietnamese candidates will not be considered.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

At least 8 years of experience in a similar HR role with a multinational organisational background and significant experience of working with both local and foreign employees.
Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching HR teams with a focus on personal and professional development and continuous improvement
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across a global and diverse organisation
Prior experience developing HR related initiatives that support employee attraction and retention
In depth working knowledge of Vietnam labor law, mandatory insurance practices and personal income tax
Excellent cross-cultural communication in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
Highest level of professionalism with regards to maintaining ethical standards and when dealing with confidential information.
