Manager, Business Strategy

Report to: Senior Manager, Business Strategy

Objective:
• Oversee the development and formulation of Corporate strategy to help achieving the company’s goals together with regular tracking of Strategy implementation
• Engage senior management team and related stakeholders to ensure the alignment of all functions toward the common goal
• Explore potential business opportunities and be responsible for the relationship development with strategic partners.
• Coordinate the implementation of strategic initiatives.

Roles and responsibility:
Strategy development and monitoring
• Drive effective strategic planning process, ensure the forecast and planned initiatives reflect market condition, growth potential and ambitions of senior management team.
• Oversee the implementation of integrated strategy plan, develop an effective tracking mechanism to monitor progress towards the agreed objectives.
• Research, analyze ideas, conduct feasibility study and develop preliminary models or business solutions to address current issues or capture growth opportunities.
• Act as an in-house business consultant and advise senior management team with in-depth knowledge of overall corporate landscape.
Strategic partnership development
• Support the business growth by exploring and developing partnership with potential strategic partners.
• Identify suitable approach and partnership model for effective collaboration between AIA and partners
Strategic initiative management
• Actively manage/contribute to the delivery of strategic initiative (including but not limited to new business models, acquisition deals, business transformation) by working with a wide range of stakeholders and cross-functional teams, aimed at driving towards profitable and sustainable results.

Requirements:
• Education – Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering from reputable universities. MBA or Master degree is preferred.
• Experience – At least 5 years of experience in Financial Services or Consulting industry. Working experience in Life Insurance is highly preferred.
• Excellent command of English and Vietnamese, both written and oral.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Special skills: Strategic thinking and problem solving; Project management; Presentation and communication
