Maintenance Manager

I. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

We are looking for Our Maintenance Manager to embrace all installation, repair and maintenance operations of the factory. You are the one to ensure the company facilities (production and utilities) are well-performing for and adequate the production needs. Interact and manage the outside contractors.

This position reports to the Technical Director.

II. MAIN RESPONSIBILITY

1. Preventive and maintenance activities
- Develop maintenance-related procedures and ensure its implementation
- Build and ensure preventive maintenance is performed consistently and effectively on all equipment
- Plan and monitor all repair and installation activities
- Need to sort and able to give corrective action for risk equipment (eg: centrifuge machines, pumps, heat exchangers, air blowers, air compressors, boilers, screw/piston type refrigeration units, cooling towers, etc)
- Timely response in case of equipment failure
- Study, justify and propose any necessary improvements or modifications

2. Build and manage maintenance budget and downtime of factory
- Proppose annual budget for maintenance department (OPEX, CAPEX)
- Monitor expenses and ensure the approved budget under management efficiently
- Ensure adequate supply of spare parts on hand by developing a reliable, efficient and economic spare parts management policy
- Ensure that downtime of machinery is controlled and improved

3. Collaboration and Team management
- Maintain effective communication with team and with related departments to ensure works done effectively
- Be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, development and appraisal of this unit.
- Lead 2 supervisors who supervise a total of 14 team members (mechanical and electrical) to achieve the departmental goal
- Participate in hiring and disciplinary process towards maintenance staff

4. Others
- Base on actual situation, participate in the given projects of maintenance (equipment replacement, equipment installation, extension,..)
- Ensure to comply with systems within your department (health and safety regulations, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 requirements,…)
- Work and manage outside contractors, technical suppliers as assignment
- Ensure maintenance logs and reports performed as required

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical.
- At least 3 year experience as a Maintenance Superintendent or Manager, preferably in a food grade or manufacturing environment.
- Good level in English and Ms. Office. Be familiar with PLC programming, AutoCAD, diagram reading and engineering in general.
- Good skills in management, influencing, decision & problem solving, analysis.
- Trustful, self-motivated, dynamic, proactive.
