Machine Maintenance Engineer (Molding)

REPORTS TO: Engineer Supervisor
SUPERVISES: Technician, Machine maintenance
CONTACTS: All Departments

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Together with Supervisor to assist department Managers to take charge of mold-dies and tool jig to make sure of the operation achieving quality , productivity and output goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Be responsible machine, equipment, tools, jigs maintenance, repair and improvement.
2. Hold meeting as and when required for training , exchange information and discuss on non - conformance so as to improve overall productivity and quality for the machine, equipment, tools, jigs.
3. Monitor the performance of the production Quality . Interface with the Technicians when repairs and maintenance are required. Confirm that repairs and adjustment are effective and done.
4. Supervise machine and equipment spare parts consumption in workshop, stock and order
5. Ensure subordinate follow WI and proceduces when working.
6. Follow up on non–conformance of machine, equipment/process and take action accordingly.
7. Take part in establish PFMEA, standards, work instruction, work procedures and processes. Apply improvement and automation for the mass production.
8. Clearly understand self’s and section’s goals to make contribution to obtain quality and delivery goals.
9. Be accountable for the compliance to rules, procedures and requirement in terms of:
a. 7S & KAIZEN
b. Environmental Health Safety
c. EICC & Social Responsibility
d. Protection of company assets
10. Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: • College
PREFERRED: • Electrical or Electronic engineering

WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED: • At least 4 years experiences in the same position.

2. Good knowledge at manufacturing processes
