Lubricants Business Analyst - 10-Month contract

Contract period expected: Jan - Nov 2019

1. Responsible to follow-up critical business day to day operations for the followings:
• Materials Master Data Management (Material, Pricing)
• Costing, Volume and Margin Analysis
• Follow-up, suggest revision and implementation of standard costs (variable cost and blending cost)
• Inventory management (Moving average price (MAP) follow-up, Stock accuracy)

2. Ensure a business support by providing valuable financial analysis:
• Analyze real evolution of volume and Gross margin on variable cost (GMVC) by segments and by customers on a monthly basis, follow up the difference between Profit center account (PCA) and Profitability analysis (COPA) report.
• Analyze monthly margin fluctuation by elements.
• Follow up overall discounts/promotions scheme and analyze the impact on GMVC
• Forecast & evaluate the effect of a discount/promotion program before launching
• Provide specific Business reports for Sales (sales detail, monthly sales report,…), Mancom, Retail activity (P&L, volume and margin,…) and monthly expenditure by departments
• Complete monthly Template Light checklist (SD, MM, PP, FI)
• Work with the Sales and Operation Heads to review business unit performance.
• Run cost estimate to review blending activity rates monthly, or to support sales to forecast COGS quarterly.
• Support in preparing annual budget & Company statutory audit
• Back-up to LPG business analyst in necessary situation
• Other ad-hoc analysis

3. Develop a Template Light driven culture:
• Gain and develop an expertise knowledge on SAP reports

4. Customer Master Data Maintenance
• Verify customer master form and its supporting documents, create/modify customer data in SAP.
• Maintain and update customer credit limits

1. B.S in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration;
2. Good analytical skills & demonstrated attention to details and ability to propose solution to a fast pace changing environment.
3. At least 1 year experienced in General accounting/Management control.
4. Good Excel and Communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
5. Good team player & ability to work under critical time pressure.
