Overall Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible to manage, direct and guide all aspects of a Transportation group to meet or exceed expectations. You will be maximizing the tactical operational performance of a transportation function. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-o- Managing import, export, customs operations, domestic transportation
-o- Managing transportation/customs analysts/leads and the contracted transportation third party logistics (3PL) operation
-o- Coaching and providing clear direction to Transportation team members' on individual development plans (IDP)
-o- Responsible for business process and transportation management system setup, execution and improvements
-o- Ensuring positive government and custom relationships are maintained by complying to their rules and regulations
-o- Meeting and exceeding Intel Logistics operations Critical Success Indicators (CSI) as defined
-o- Leading and ensuring transportation team members participate in site and regional programs and projects
-o- Partnering with support from Warehouse Manager to manage warehouse 3PL supplier performance, to enable one-stop-shop service to stakeholders and customer.
-o- Leading Vietnam Logistics Cost Efficiency & Saving programs to meet site and global logistics business goals, covering to both Transportation & Warehouse.
-o- Reporting directly to Site Logistics Manager

You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Management and/or Economy and/or Supply Chain and/or Finance with at least five years of transportation and/or logistics experience. An M.B.A. is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
-o- Analytical and/or problem solving skills
-o- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within a professional or highly technical field or recognized body of formal knowledge
-o- Proficient in English Communication (oral and written)
-o- Negotiation and/or influencing
-o- Business competence
-o- Familiarity with Intel Logistic operations, system and interdependencies, decision making, business acumen, people management and contractor and/or supplier management knowledge
-o- Import, export, customs, trade rules, warehouse transportation operations and warehouse management systems
-o- Leadership and management skills
-o- PC literate
-o- Skills in Microsoft Office* applications
-o- Organization and time-management skills
