Logistics Specialist - VN Office

Role in company:


Person in this position must be a good doer under pressure and stay informed issues that may occur in numerous supplier factories. Must make sure that all issues and decisions are clearly communicated to appropriate personnel as quickly as possible and main goals are:

1. On-time delivery connected with Operation until FOB port as the whole value chain concept to meet on time deliver for the handled customers and factory.

2. On-time communication and accountability of the job and task handing for all methods of response including but not limited to email reply, reporting, meeting or calls.

3. Professional and responsible for all files, documents, data and reports accuracy.

4. Factory logistics window on site management for PO and shipping documents to ensure on time providing and delivery.

5. Participate and collaborate with worldwide Operation team and local Vietnam Operation and cross functional team to complete the task.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITY SCOPE FOR DIRECTOR OF ELECTRIC:

A. Logistics and Vendor Fulfillment Management

1. Shipping arrangement for distributed customers.

2. Monitor vendor booking and 3PL/ 4PL documents providing and accuracy supervision.

3. Anticipate any potential issues of local vessel communication, trucking, customs, or routine issue. and solve it in advance or escalate to leadership team to ensure the on time shipment.

4. Responsible for the communication and coordination with all functional departments and related supply chain on shipping,

B. System Operation

1. Participate NAV system activity completion on time and regular packing and invoice document collaborating with China Logistics team to ensure month end system transaction without any issue for targeted revenue achievement.

2. Responsible for key user of customer booking system activity and company assigned forwarder communication and system operation proceeding smoothly.

3. Support on Logistics system development and implementation.

4. Drive the process consistency, integration with country houses as well as with other cross functional peers.

C. Warehousing

1. Cooperate with warehousing owner and service provider for daily shipment, components and goods moving between factory and local warehouse.

2. If as the warehouse dedicated window, who needs to responsible for daily warehousing operation, on site warehouse if necessary, monitor and solve truck, goods, in/out/stock issues related with factory and warehouse, as well as cross functional team to ensure company benefit protection and business achievement.

D. Analysis & Reporting

1. Responsible for required operation team and cross-functional level business reporting and logistics data analysis on a regular basis, or the reports upon the specific request of leaders

2. Other tasks from Senior Management Team.

SPECIFIC SKILLS, BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



1. Three years of Furniture field or trading company.

2. Good English skill and communication skill.

3. Problem solving, down to details, work carefully, high sense of responsibility and interpersonal skill.
4. Excellent computer skill including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or other data analytic is plus such as Pivot, SQL etc.
